Fault find a pitch system and complete a six monthly turbine service
You are a Wind Turbine Technician on the Ridgeback crew.
What has happened
WTG-05 has faulted three times this week on pitch fault code 412 on blade B and is sitting in pause. Work order WO-26-5131 asks for a check of the hydraulic pressure, the proximity sensor and the accumulator. The turbine is also due for its six monthly service, and Ben Carrington wants both done in one visit to save a climb. A weather front is due on Friday with wind speeds above the working limit. The control room must record the turbine out of service and the permit must show the rotor lock and the 33 kilovolt isolation. Two technicians are required in the nacelle.

Evidence guide
Check that the plan respects wind limits and the two person rule, that the permit shows the rotor lock and a proven electrical isolation, that the fault finding sequence uses the controller fault log and the hydraulic readings, and that service results are recorded with values. Return to service must include the self test and control room release. A defect outside scope must be raised separately, not buried.
